1. Flexible Learning Environments
One of the standout benefits of part-time online and/or in-person study is the flexibility it offers. This approach allows students to balance their academic pursuits with other commitments, such as part-time jobs, extracurricular activities, or personal interests. Whether you choose to learn from the comfort of your home or on line, you have the freedom to customize your learning environment to suit your needs.
I have always wanted to study in the UK and found that doing so was impossible without A levels. As I was at Bishops full-time I could only study part-time with Learning Unlimited, meeting with my tutors only once or twice a week. Despite this, LU’s tutors prepared my skilfully for all my A level exams through well-prepared interactive lessons in which the tutors showed expert knowledge of the relevant syllabi. I have learned so much from LU that I feel confident that I am on the same level academically as British students and of getting the grades I need at university.
2. Individualized Support
IGCSE, AS and A-Level subjects are known for their depth and complexity. Part-time study programs provide additional support, including dedicated tutors and resources to help students navigate these challenging subjects. The personalized attention and guidance empower students to grasp complex concepts and perform at their best.
3. Blended Learning Approach
Our part-time online and/or in-person study combines the best of both worlds. Our online learning with an experienced tutor provides the convenience of remote learning, while our in-person classes offer valuable face-to-face interaction. This blended approach caters to various learning styles and preferences, ensuring that students receive a well-rounded educational experience.
4. Comprehensive Resources
Our part-time study programs for IGCSE, AS and A-Level subjects provide comprehensive resources, access to laboratories and specialized materials. These resources are essential for hands-on learning and practical experiments, making it easier for students to excel in subjects that require real-world application.
In 2016 I made the decision to study International A levels with Learning Unlimited (LU) as I found that the South African NSC made it impossible to apply to almost all UK universities. With superhuman dedication and effort—including a willingness to each at night and on weekends—one of my teachers Tapuwa Muchinga enabled me to do two years of work in one in a way that would have been impossible without him. I now have an MSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Edinburgh (graduated with distinction) and am now studying medicine at St Andrews. There could be no better group of educators than those I encountered in LU.
5. Exam Preparation
IGCSE, AS and A-Level examinations are rigorous, and preparation is crucial. Our part-time study programs include dedicated exam preparation sessions and practice tests to ensure that students are well-prepared when the time comes to demonstrate their knowledge. You can also register for the Booster Classes prior to writing exams. This support can significantly boost confidence and performance during the examination.
6. Personal Growth and Development
Education is not just about acquiring knowledge; it’s also about personal growth and development. Our part-time study programs offer students the opportunity to develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, time management, and discipline – skills that will serve them well in their academic and professional lives.
7. College and Career Pathways
IGCSE, AS and A-Level qualifications open doors to a wide range of college and career opportunities. Our part-time study programs guide students in exploring these pathways, providing valuable insights, career counseling, and helping students reach their higher education and career goals.

Learning Unlimited is the foundation for everything I have achieved over the past decade.
Studying A levels with Sharon prepared me for the SATs and enabled me to matriculate from Bishops with a 95% average.
More than that, Sharon taught me—like all her students—how to learn. And that ultimately made it possible for me to thrive at Harvard, where I went on to study Computer Science. Since graduating in 2018, I have started and sold a software start-up, and am now investing in technology-enabled businesses at Thrive Capital, a NYC-based venture capital firm with billions under management.
We are a Dutch family who had emigrated to South African and found that our son could not be enrolled at a Dutch university, The Technical University of Delft, unless he could show either American AP Certificates or, alternatively, A levels. Thomas did his A levels with Learning Unlimited and got the results he needed to gain acceptance at Delft.
In line with Dutch tradition, this photo shows his backpack hanging above the front door to show the world that you have passed your school-leaving exams.
